Ztrade applies the commitments below to every engagement. They are short because the company is small. They are applied, documented and available to a counterparty’s compliance function on request.
Know your counterparty
Before any introduction we verify the registration, the ownership to natural persons and the signing authority of every party we represent or introduce. We keep a file on each of them.
Sanctions
We screen counterparties, their owners, vessels, cargo origin and routes against the EU, UN, UK and US (OFAC) lists. We do not take part in transactions involving sanctioned parties, vessels or origins.
Anti-corruption
No payments, gifts or other benefits are made or offered to public officials or their relatives, directly or through anyone else. No owner or officer of Ztrading Ltd is a politically exposed person. Any connection to a politically exposed person is disclosed to the counterparty before an introduction.
Fee transparency
Ztrade is paid by the party it represents under a written agreement. The arrangement, including any fee-sharing with a partner company, is disclosed to the counterparty’s compliance function on request. No part of a fee is passed on to anyone else.
Information handling
Documents are exchanged through channels agreed between the parties and are treated as confidential. We do not publish the names of counterparties or transactions.
Records
Checks and decisions are documented so that they can be shown afterwards.
