Agreed in writing.
Kept to.
We agree our role before any introduction is made, and we keep to it. Four steps, from the first conversation to the next requirement.
Understand
the requirement.
The company, its role in the opportunity, the commercial requirement and the support it needs. This decides whether and where Ztrade can contribute.
Define
the engagement.
The scope of work, the responsibilities, the communication arrangements and the fee, in a written engagement agreement. We identify the parties involved and the specialist input required.
Prepare
and coordinate.
The counterparty file, the onboarding, the commercial dialogue and any financing request, with follow-up on every open item. These workstreams often run in parallel.
Follow
through.
Agreed actions are tracked to completion. The relationship continues through feedback and the next requirement.
Coordinated workstreams
Alongside the
commercial dialogue.
Due diligence, onboarding and financing discussions can run alongside the commercial negotiation.
Due diligence
Check completeness and consistency and resolve gaps before submission.
Onboarding
Track outstanding requests until the onboarding decision is made.
External financing
Coordinate the dialogue and follow-up with potential providers.
Specialist opinions and acceptance decisions remain with the counterparty, its advisers and any finance provider. Financing is provided only by external parties, subject to their own assessment, terms and approval.
What we ask for
before we start.
- Current company registration documents and an ownership chart to natural persons.
- Proof of the supply or purchase entitlement behind the transaction.
- The person with authority to negotiate and sign.
- A short description of the transaction: product, quantity, delivery terms, timing.
- Company email addresses for all correspondence.
Paid by the party
we represent.
Ztrade is compensated by the party it represents, under a written agreement, as a fee per completed transaction. The counterparty pays nothing to Ztrade. Where the fee is shared with a partner company, this is done under a written fee-sharing agreement and is disclosed to the counterparty’s compliance function on request.
No part of any fee is passed on to anyone else. The full arrangement is available to the counterparty’s compliance team on request.
Before we start.
Does Ztrade provide financing?
No. We prepare the information and coordinate the dialogue with banks and other providers. Funding is their decision, on their terms.
Does Ztrade trade for its own account?
No. The seller and the buyer contract directly with each other. Ztrade does not take title to cargo.
Who pays Ztrade?
The party we represent, normally the seller, under a written agreement. The counterparty pays nothing to Ztrade.
Can you name your counterparties or past transactions?
Not publicly. With written consent, references are given directly to the party that asks.
What do you need for a first discussion?
A short introduction: your company, your role in the transaction, the product and quantity, and the support you are looking for. Detailed documents follow later through agreed channels.
